Accredited Training

The Fettercairn Youth Horse Project provides accredited training and it is a recognised Training Centre for the Association of Irish Riding Establishments (AIRE) and the British Horse Society (BHS)

A.I.R.E Stages Level 1 – Level 10

The AIRE (Association of Irish Riding Establishments) levels are a series of ten progressive levels of Riding and Stable Management designed for the amateur rider to provide them with an incentive to improve. A certificate is awarded for each level.

BHS

The BHS are the internationally recognised qualifications that are recognised anywhere. FYHP can train up to Assistant Instructor (AI) level.

Three member from the Fettercairn Youth Horse Project, Orla Casey, Gary Phillips and Emmet Lynsey, see below, who were successful in graduating from the Trainee Jockey course at the Racing Academy and Centre of Education (RACE) in the Curragh in 2007.
