The Horse Project is delighted to have been informed by South Dublin County Council that we have been successful in our application under the Community Infrastructure Fund 2019 and have been awarded the sum of €20,000.
The funding has been awarded to facilitate the upgrade of the riding arena and the provision of emergency lighting in the Horse Project.
The SDCC Community Infrastructure Fund offers community groups the opportunity to apply for funding to assist with the cost of either constructing new community facilities or the modernisation or expansion of existing facilities. South Dublin County Council allocated €350,000 for the Community Infrastructure Fund in the Council’s Annual Budget 2019.
Work on both the riding arena[1] and the provision of emergency lighting will begin as soon as possible.
FYHP wish to thank South Dublin County Council for the great support provided to the Horse Project.
[1] Work on the riding arena will not be able to be commenced until funds allocated under the Sports Capital Programme are released on a national basis.
