BHS Exam Success for five FYHP members – 1st November 2015

There was great excitement in the Horse Project with the news that five members of FYHP had passed their BHS exams.

They are Amy Preston, Leah Hackett, Megan Doran and Chloe Stanley, all of whom passed Stage One. Shane Keogh, who is employed as a Stable Hand, passed his Stage Two.

All of the above had trained for months at FYHP preparing for the exams. The training included both Riding and Stable Management and lectures from the FYHP Equine and Training Manager, Ann Keoghan. In the weeks coming up to the exam, the BHS examiner Grainne Sugars came to FYHP to give lessons and lectures to the students. A big thank you to Grainne for all her help and support.

Shane will progress to his PTT in the Spring and Chloe, Megan, Leah and Amy will all do their Stage Two early 2017 when they turn 16 years old.

Congratulations are due to all for their hard work in achieving this success.
